The REAL ID was supposed to tighten requirements for State driver's licenses and IDs. It seems some states have taken the opportunity to offer non-compliant IDs. I say skip the extra money and hassle and boycott the Real IDs for the non-compliant if you can.

Certain states are taking aim at the Gig Economy(independent contractor, freelancers, sub-contractors etc) by attempting to force them onto company payrolls in various ways. The reported intent is to get more workers employer benefits, but the creating a spike in payroll taxes appears beneficial to states with financial problems. Oh yea, what's going on with that NJ bill to make vaccines mandatory for school kids?
